Dr. Mary Sayegh is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she earned her degree in dentistry. During her training, she received numerous academic awards including those for her contributions in advancing the oral health of those in local communities. Dr. Mary then completed her post-doctoral program in Pediatric Dentistry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York. While at Montefiore, she was a representative at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s Public Advocacy Conference, meeting with members of Congress to discuss oral health issues impacting American children. She has conducted meaningful research on the oral health of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and her passion to make an impact on the lives of children with disabilities continues to be her focus. Dr. Mary serves as an instructor and staff member at Montefiore Medical Center’s post graduate Pediatric Dentistry residency program.
